FINE 2610: Art History II: Renaissance to Contemporary Art (T/TH: 11:00 AM – 12:15PM): A lecture course addressing global art from the Renaissance to today, including major artists and periods. Through the analysis of these “visual texts,” vocabulary acquisition, exams, and writing assignments, students will demonstrate knowledge of historical developments and an ability to analyze and think critically about the arts using art-historical methodologies. This course satisfies a Humanities Core requirement.
